TUITION INCLUDES:

MMF Institute—

  • Conduct Mostly Modern Orchestra (MMO) rehearsals and readings, and conduct the American Modern Ensemble (AME) in a public concert.

  • Two conductors will be chosen to conduct/perform with MMO, one each week.

  • Group masterclasses and private seminars with Conducting Faculty.

  • All-access pass to everything at the festival.

  • An archival audio WAV file and a link to a three-camera-shot video of your AME performance(s) via the Mostly Modern Projects YouTube channel. Conductors chosen for the public performances of the Orchestral Readings works will receive a WAV file and video link for that as well.

  • Welcome Party, Opening and Closing night parties!

Room And Board (Full Session)—

Scholarships, Work Study, and Resident Advisor (RA) positions are available. Those awarded a Work Study or RA position will be required to attend the festival a day early for orientation. All three options may be selected during the application process. The conductor who is awarded a fellowship will be required to assist with the opera production: take notes, communicate with composers, listen for balance, and work with our faculty conductor.
